Have a trip with a speed of 1200 km/h with Hyperloop


    The company Hyperloop One from Los Angeles is implementing a multi-billion dollar project in the UAE to build a revolutionary transportation system of the future.

    Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai demonstrated to public a prototype of the innovative transport system Hyperloop on February, 22. The presentation took place within the framework of the Month of Innovation in the UAE.

    The design of the project developed by the committee together with the company Virgin Hyperloop One was shown along with such transport innovations as autonomous capsules, high-frequency express buses and the Urban Mobility Innovation Index (UMii) concept.

    Two companies have already begun to explore potential routes for the Hyperloop system and are already seeing significant progress in the technical, engineering and economic areas of the project research.

    The first route of the hypersonic magnetic train Hyperloop will be laid between the largest cities of the United Arab Emirates – Dubai and Abu Dhabi. With its introduction, an hour and a half trip between two megacities will be reduced to 12 minutes, and the capacity will be 10,000 passengers per hour in both directions.

    The entrepreneur-billionaire Ilon Mask was the first who announced the idea of a transport system with trains moving in a vacuum pipe due to magnetic levitation at super speeds (up to 1200 km/h) in 2013.

    It is also possible that a later ultra-high-speed system will link Dubai and Riyadh, while the current 9-hour trip will be reduced to 48 minutes.

    Dubai is an ideal place for a hyper-speed vacuum train project, as it is a global transport hub of the 21st century.

    The Hyperloop One concept of the future high-speed system offers an original solution that overcomes the problem of fast loading of passenger capsules into a vacuum tube while simultaneously providing more mobile capabilities for users.

    Among the new products for the “transport of the future” are the so-called “Hyperportals”, the equivalent of stations and airports. Inside them, on special conveyors, passengers will travel in autonomous Hyperpods, which can also be used outside the docks as unmanned urban transport.

    The Hyperloop One system will offer passengers early booking of trips on a vacuum train. To order a capsule Hyperloop, which accommodates from 6 to 8 people, passengers can use smartphones or computers connected to the Internet. Entering the capsule will be carried out in special places, called “portals”, where various types of capsules will be available: from ordinary passenger to specialized, including cargo capsules. Then the autonomous system itself begins to form whole compounds from the capsules, which then combine into clusters of four units and move in the desired direction at a tremendous speed.

    Hyperloop One intends to create a system in which third-party automakers and other transport companies can integrate, and also turn it into a platform that can work with unmanned electric vehicles Tesla, BMW or any other manufacturers of autonomous city machines that will come later.

    For a more comfortable trip, the developers intend to equip the vacuum tunnel with a special system which will provide a more familiar feeling of movement by creating the illusion of moving realistic images of the environment behind the window.

    Hyperloop One is an environmentally friendly, faster and more efficient form of transport. It will completely change the structure of passenger and cargo transportation.
