Two Guinness World Records of UAE per a day: a good start of 2018

Two Guinness World Records of UAE per a day. Do you agree it is a good start of 2018?

It is just the first week of new 2018 year but the UAE has already managed to set 2 Guinness World Records.

The New Year’s Show in Dubai “Light Up 2018” was included in the Guinness Book of Records as the most ambitious laser and sound show projected on one building, set in Dubai. Tens of thousands of people came to see it.

The show “Light Up 2018” replaced the traditional fireworks for the first time. It was held at the highest building in the world – the Burj Khalifa tower. A few seconds before the end of 2017, a countdown was started at the tower, and then for about 7 minutes the audience watched laser projections on the tower itself, neighboring buildings and dancing fountains. At the end, a giant eagle was projected onto the tower.

Previous such a record was recorded in the Guinness Book in 2013 in Hong Kong where the production area was 46 thousand square meters. Dubai beat Hong Kong in scale by more than two times: its laser production took 109 thousand square meters.

If you did not visit Burj Khalifa light show don’t be upset, you have an opportunity to see it live until January 6.  It will take place on 2nd and 3rd January at 8:00pm, 4-6 January at 10:00pm.

The second record of UAE this holidays is the world’s largest caviar tin.

The 50kg serving of caviar was presented to guests at the resorts’ Gala Dinner and broke the previous Guinness World Record for the world’s largest caviar tin, which was registered in 2016 (17kg).

5,000 lucky guests enjoyed taking part in this event. Would you like to be among them?

The UAE can not stop amazing people from all over the world with its fantasy and generosity!
