Arabian Travel Market, the most significant tourist exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa, is held at the Dubai World Trade Center from April 22-25. On April 22, the Showcase Theater hosted a conference for students Career in Travel, where professionals shared their grandiose experience in building a career in tourism.
The program of the event is built on the principle of interactive seminars. The first part is devoted to the issues of building a career in tourism.
In the second part, teachers, trainers and employers talk about training the new generation of specialists and what skills they will need.
The final part is focused on creating their own brand in the tourism industry.

According to the official study of the World Travel and Tourism Council Report, the number of employed in tourism in the UAE will double by 2026 and reach 394,000 people. This sector will continue to play a key role in the economy of the Arab Emirates. In addition, the weakening of the visa regime in Saudi Arabia, the construction of new hotels and the country’s orientation to active recreation will create 781,000 jobs by 2027.
In 2017, the conference was visited by 39 000 people, and the amount of transactions exceeded 2.5 billion dollars for 4 days.
